Ask us anything: How many radio ads should I be running?

This is a super common question! There isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer, but let’s dive into some details.

There are four approaches to reaching our radio audiences (weekly):

  • Very Light – Reaches 34% of the audience 1.4 times
  • Light – Reaches 50% of the audience 2 times
  • Medium – Reaches 66% of the audience 3 times
  • Heavy – Reaches 78% of the audience 4.3 times
The first thing we need to know is what kind of campaign you’re looking to run.
  • ‘Very Light’ to ‘Light’ schedules for maintenance campaigns or general branding. These campaigns start at about 16 – 32 ads per week.
  • ‘Medium’ to ‘Heavy’ schedules work the best for promotional campaigns and major sales. These campaigns will be 32+ ads per week, depending on your goals.
